Carrara a hefty task!
The Mess Yet to be Moved
On Carrara, but for the installation of underground piping tanks and pumps for the watering system and a large amount of rubbish to remove, we are now in a position to begin building garden beds. This piping etc is unfortunately a rather large budgetary item and we must thank Carrara Markets, its owner Terry Morris and Manager Denis Lee for their generosity.
- New Fence Up With Internal Fenced Composting Site Also Visible
The Carrara Markets has already funded a new fence for the site including a specially enclosed composting area where trials with waste supplied by Gold Coast City Council will take place. We have strong support in Council for these trials and we currently await confirmation that the relevant policy is in place.
